December Release At a Glance

Today's project is the one I'm MOST excited about... I love making something personal for my kids teachers (which I usually combine with a gift card).   They do so much for my kids... and I want them to know that we really appreciate what they do.  The set I'm featuring today is called Fly Your Flag 2 with a coordinating Taylored Die - set of 7 rubber images plus 1 die.

I took a package of pencils and stamped and punched out a flag for each of them to make a personalized flag.   I used the teacher's initial on the heart and arranged them in a cute little mug that I found at Walmart (with some jelly beans at the bottom to hold the pencils in place.)    I tied a little Christmas Twine on the cup and then created a matching card.  

For the card, I stamped one of the flag images 5 times and then hand cute the "banners", coloring each to match.  I used the You’re My Type Upper stamps to stamp in the TEACH and I adhered them on top of the twine for a banner look.   I then used the new Apple Wreath on the card, perfect for a teacher and a cute, personal gift!  

There are so many cute things you can do with these flags--- stick them on a toothpick for cupcakes, create little banners, or find your own fun use!
