Today we have peeks of 2 new stamp sets, 2 new A la Carte stamps, 7 new dies and die sets, plus a brand new Project Pantry.
The set I'm previewing today is called ROSY POSEY.... ironically it's the Rose Parade today-- so how perfect is that!?!?
This set will coordinate with the Rose Wreath, brand new Rosy Posey dies (which I used to die cut the roses), mini leaves die set, and the leafy branch die. It's a full set in the Whimsical Wishes line by Nancy McKinney.
For my card, I used some fun new modern papers from the Crate Paper - Paper Heart Collection. I thought of my favorite "Chevron" pattern when I saw the striped paper, so I took a strip and reversed it for a fun little accent. The roses are embossed in red and then die cut using the new Rosy Posey small and large rose dies and I layered them on another new die being released today called the small layering doily (we actually have THREE layering doilies being introduced and they are awesome!!)
For the sentiment, I used the Spellbinders Grommet Tags die, airbrushed the inside and then took my colorless blender pen Copic and hand-drew zig zags. I just love how the color combo turned out!!
