Hello again!  We're on to day 3 of sneak peeks featuring a WHOLE lot of fun today!  You'll have to jump around to take it all in!  I'm featuring two sets, the first is one of our new A La Cartes called " LUCKY A LA CARTE" from Nancy McKinney.  Perfect for St. Patrick's Day or to tell that special someone you feel lucky to have them! 

One of the things I love about the word A La Carte stamps is how quickly you can piece together a card.  I stamped and embossed with white Embossing Powder and then used a colored pencil to shad the sections I wanted.  I love white on Kraft and the green really popped off the page.  As a reminder all of the stamps, including the A La Cartes are all deeply etched RUBBER stamps (not clear).  

To add that extra little touch, I used a small scalloped heart from my Spellbinders set and then antiqued the edges to form a matching shamrock with a button center and twine stem.  

The next set I used is the newest tag set... Totally Tags Spring from Doug's Apple Doodle Ink line – a new set to coordinate with the Totally Tags dies…great for all sorts of cards and treats for Easter and Spring!  These also coordinate with Hello Spring and Easter Joy. 

I made a quick treat gift using the adorable carrot bunny character and added a strip of the GRASS BORDER across the bottom.

Today, we are featuring four new Petite sets on the Baker's Dozen's blogs... and I have my absolute favorite this release... MOKA APRIL.  Eeekkk... she is SO cute!! Sweet little April is ready to jump in and help out the Easter bunny by delivering eggs and she's lots of fun to color!  We have a FREE DOWNLOAD in the store to help you with your Moka Coloring as well! 

Here's my version of Sweet Moka April with Doodlebug Color Wheel Paper.  After I colored her with copics, I left her in the Spellbinders die and airbrushed the edges and then stamped the sentiment.  

I used two of the new Taylored Dies... the Jumbo Flower Border and A Tisket A Tasket... I love how the basket had embossing on it and that separate ruffle edge makes it really easy to add dimension with some sponging!   Check out the close-up!

Welcome to our first day of sneak peeks for our March release!! Today, we're introducing two adorable abodes-- Royal Digs and Spring Cottage along with ALL of the new dies!! 

The set I used today is the Spring Cottage from Doug's Apple Doodle Ink line.  This is a sweet little cottage with a cute little wishing well and as you''ll see on my card, some sweet little bunnies.  You can celebrate Springtime or the beginnings of a new home.  Very ironic for me right now because we may be looking for a new home very soon!  YIKES! 

For my card, I used the October Afternoon Sidewalks paper, adorable for paper piecing the cottage!

I added some clouds in felt from the CLOUD DUO die and added a PICKET FENCE BORDER along the bottom.  

Here's a close up of those cute little bunnies (who of course needed a little touch of pink on their cheeks!)

February Key Ingredients

Hi everyone!! I'm back to share another project I created with this month's Key Ingredients AND the new stamp set that is on special for Key Ingredient subscribers.  I hope you read all the details about the Key Ingredients and the special for this month over on Taylor's blog HERE.  It should answer all your questions about how the Key Ingredients work...a GREAT kit club that arrives in your mailbox each month with everything you need to create a minimum of 16 cards!!    I really thought I wasn't a "kit" girl, but I absolutely loved playing with one this month and having everything matching and coordinated was so quick and easy to work with!! 

This kit worked perfectly with the ROSY POSEY set and I also used the HOUNDSTOOTH/DAMASK Impression Plate (which I LOVE!)     You can see samples from previous months just by looking at the history on the Key Ingredient blog.  It is such a great value AND a great convenience!  All the shopping and accessorizing already done for you!

This is my first time playing with one of the Key Ingredients kits--- and let me tell you, they are FUN stuff!! You get so much for your money and it's enough to make 16 or more cards each month or lots of other projects.

I used my KI Kit to make a gorgeous framed print to use in my office.... it took no time at all with having all the coordinated products right at my finger tips!

Taylored Expressions Calendar Challenge February

For my calendar this year, I'm using the Frame your Imagination Stand which I painted a soft aqua color using spray paint.  I added a strip of ribbon to the very bottom and then I use the 6 x 6 Page Protectors for my actual Calendar Pages using the pre-made printable 6 x 6 downloads available at the store.  

I used the LOVE MONSTER stamp set for this month's page... I just love them so much, I couldn't resist! 

The patterned paper is LOVE STRUCK... perfect for February! 

And I used the Jumbo Heart Border die for the strip across the top.
